Mr. Hallock graduated from University of San Diego School of Law in 1987 and was admitted to the California Bar in December of 1987. He is admitted to the Southern and Central District Courts and before the Ninth Circuit. He has tried more than 25 cases to jury or bench conclusion. Trials have included unregistered franchise matters, business contractual disputes, personal injury, class action securities fraud, defense of architects, engineers and veterinarians and land use.

In 2005, his clients received a $16,000,000 judgment in a franchise and anti-trust business matter. In 2010, Mr. Hallock defended 37 clients' rights to use and enjoyment of a joint use parking lot in Clairemont. His clients were awarded their fees, costs and a monetary award in settlement of their cross-complaint after a bench verdict in their favor on the Plaintiff's complaint. In 2012, Mr. Hallock's personal injury client received a $160,000.00 jury award in a soft tissue automobile accident case. The case settled post-judgment for the jury award and reasonable costs. Later in 2012, a flower grower client was determined to have no liability for a slip and fall case in a North County Court's ruling on the client's summary judgment motion. The flower grower received attorney's fees and costs after the summary judgment was granted.

Prior to receiving his law degree, Mr. Hallock was a fully certified ski instructor who taught skiing in Red Lodge, Montana, Sun Valley Idaho and Portillo, Chile. He was raised on a cattle ranch in Montana and is married with 2 grown children.
